Great Plains Improvement Foundation (GPIF) has served individuals with developmental disabilities since 1990. The Developmental Disabilities Services Program (DDSP) provides residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities eighteen and older. GPIF provides services in Lawton and Altus Oklahoma.

Consumers are provided assistance in managing their finances, preparing nutritious meals and housekeeping. Support staff provides personal care training when necessary. Staff is certified to administer medication, perform CPR and first aid. Consumers are transported to and from work, medical appointments, and community activities. Residential services provided are.

  • Group Home Services -serves up to six individuals in a home-like environment. The homes are owned by the agency and the consumers pay room and board.
  • Assisted Living Services -serves up to three individuals in their own home. The consumers are financially responsible for the operation of their home.
  • Supported Living Services -serves up to three class members in a home. The class member pays room and board to the agency.
