MINIMUM MEAL REQUIREMENTS OF
THE CHIILD AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM

The nutritional goal for meals and supplements is to furnish high-quality meals to all children in accordance with Recommended Daily Dietary Allowances of the National Research Council/National Academy of Science.

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) regulations specify that the meals meet the following meal pattern requirements.
